My name is Holly Wallace, and I'm a Web/UX Designer/Developer living in Austin, Texas. In June 2012, I graduated from The Art Institute of Houston with a Bachelor's degree of Fine Arts in Web Design & Interactive Media.
I first started working with web programming languages when I was about twelve or thirteen years old, and by age fifteen I was designing websites for clubs and organizations at school. After graduating high school, I enrolled in The Art Institute to become a professional web designer & developer.
In June of 2009, I become a web design intern at Baker Hughes Incorporated and by March 2010 I had become a contract web designer for the company. I kept full time hours as a student and worker for three years, all while maintaining a 3.5 GPA. I continued to work for Baker Hughes Incorporated until February of 2013.
Currently I'm working for NFP as an UX Designer.
I am extremely well versed in HTML & CSS, and have begun applying the new techniques in HTML5 & CSS3. I also have worked with Javascript, PHP, MySQL, Ajax, jQuery, and XML. At the Art Institute I have also gained experience in graphic design, flash, videography & video editing, and photography.
